A national certified career counselor will individually analyze your specific concerns and make concrete recommendations for a workable plan of action based on a thorough interactive discussion with you. This can be done via the internet, e-mail, telephone, fax, mail or in person.

The staff of Horizons Unlimited Inc. will initially explore with you the issues specific to your work situation. We elicit your educational and work history and then identify aspects of the jobs you liked and disliked, including unpaid activities and hobbies. We then review your resume and any career tests or materials, along with your input as to how accurate you believe the latter to be. If you have not taken any career tests or do not have very much information we will gather it as we work with you including administering career tests as needed. We want to know as much as possible about who you are in order to best serve your needs.

To determine how we can best be of assistance to you we strongly suggest you spend the necessary time completing the following free intake form. This exercise can assist you in clarifying certain concerns and will provide a basis for us to begin to address your issues. After we thoroughly review all of your information we will contact you and outline a course of action addressing your specific needs.

Our Fees

We believe you should be in charge of how much assistance you need and when it should be concluded, based on how helpful it is to you. Therefore, we charge on an hourly rate with quarter hour increments. We include our time reviewing your materials and speaking with you in person or on-line (once we have agreed to work together). Our fee is $120 per hour, payable by check, money order or credit card (Visa, Master Card, American Express, Discover). There may be additional charges for tests (if relevant) and other materials such as interpretive and research materials and books you may not be able to obtain, if you and we agree they are needed.
